Samantha Josephine Payne is the Founder and Licensed Mortgage Broker of OpenKey Mortgage Advisors, LLC. Passionate about making home financing simple, transparent, and client-focused, she launched the independent brokerage in January 2026 after earning her full state licensing and NMLS registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator.
Samantha brings sharp analytical skills and a genuine commitment to client care, developed through years of scientific research and professional experience. As an undergraduate Research Assistant at USC Upstate, she contributed to published studies on SARS-CoV-2 that appeared in the Journal of Biological Chemistry and The FASEB Journal, and presented her findings at national research symposiums. This experience taught her how to evaluate complex information and communicate clearly, skills she now uses to guide clients through the mortgage process with confidence and clarity.
She also served as a Office Manager at Riverstone Wealth Management, where she supports smooth client operations and relationship management. Fully licensed as both a Mortgage Broker and Mortgage Loan Originator, Samantha is dedicated to shopping the best rates and programs while providing personalized support every step of the way.
