Jason Payne brings more than 20 years of financial expertise to OpenKey Mortgage Advisors, where he serves as Co-Owner and Senior Mortgage Advisor. As a seasoned professional with a strong background in wealth management and client-focused planning, Jason is dedicated to helping clients navigate the mortgage process with clarity, strategy, and confidence.
He is the owner and President of Riverstone Wealth Management, where he continues to advise high-net-worth clients on comprehensive financial strategies. This extensive experience in portfolio management, retirement planning, and long-term wealth preservation gives Jason a unique ability to guide clients through both the financing and broader financial implications of homeownership.
Prior to founding Riverstone, Jason held senior advisory roles at Carolina First Wealth Management and First Citizens Wealth Management, consistently ranking among the top producers for client acquisition and asset growth.
Jason holds Series 7, 63, 65, and 24 licenses, as well as active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) and Mortgage Broker licenses. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from East Carolina University.
